A tourism office wanted to highlight its region with a photo competition inviting all residents to take part and submit their most beautiful shots of the region. The competition showcased an array of magnificent places to visit. It also allowed the Tourism Office to compile a stock of high-definition images for the production of a book advertising the region.
This strategy was highly successful and was publicised by bloggers as well as all the influencers in the region who participated in the photo contest, which also helped to promote the region and the city.
We are very satisfied with the photo competition campaign which allowed us to highlight the most beautiful places in our region. Producing a beautiful collective book using the images boosted our sales and allowed us to offer it to businesses in the region to sell too.
Above all, this campaign helped us to diversify the tourism office which was put into the spotlight and we had very positive feedback from our audience, especially on social networks.
