Do you think all 5-letter words are easy? Think again? Engage your audience with this challenging word puzzle, similar in format to the popular Wordle game.
Our Word Search game allows you to combine as many levels as you like into a single game. The game screen consists of a grid of 6 rows of 5 squares each. One row equals one attempt. Players have 6 attempts to find the 5-letter mystery word.
Players can enter their different suggestions for the mystery word using the keyboard located below the grid on a touch screen, or they can use their computer keyboard and press the Enter key to confirm their suggestion. After each attempt, the squares will change colour depending on whether the player got the letters right or wrong.
If some of the letters are correct and in the right place, the boxes turn green. If a letter is present, but in the wrong place in the word, the square turns yellow. The box turns grey if the letter is not part of the word.
If desired, players can get hints by clicking on the light bulb icon on the right of the game screen. Pop-ups with a title, text, and an image can also be added at the beginning of each level, when a clue is displayed, or to highlight information about the mystery word once it has been found. Similar to the New York Times Wordle game, players will have to find the mystery word in as few tries as possible to get maximum points.
