When customising a Video contest or a Photo Contest on Drimify, you have the option to connect it to a Voting Gallery, where participants can look through approved entries, or a shortlist, and vote for the future winner. It allows everyone: users who didn’t participate as well as entrants with skin in the game, to browse through the submitted creations and vote for their favourite (or favourites if you allow more votes per user).
This adds a layer of social interaction to the experience of the initial contest, as it brings the whole process full circle, and allows people to see the shortlisted or approved entries. You can even use some of the shortlisted entries to promote the Voting Gallery across social media networks.
Your options don’t end there. You can also use the Voting Gallery game engine to upload your own images, audio, or video content, and submit it to the vote of internet users (either public or a select community) to vote for their favourite. Participants can cast their vote (or votes) according to the brief or parameters you have inputted from your Drimify dashboard.
The Voting Gallery can also be used simply as a gallery or a showcase of content. The voting function of the Voting Gallery is an option you can activate or disable depending on the aims of your project.
You can also reward the engagement of voters with a potential random prize draw at the end of the experience. This could act as an extra incentive to encourage more users to cast their votes and potentially even opt-in to marketing emails.
