Challenge your target audience to a word-based puzzle. Ask them to solve clues as hard or as easy as you like to deliver the most appropriate experience for your targets and your objectives.
The Crossword and Wordsearch Game is a puzzle played on a grid of letters that make up the words to be identified. Underneath the board is a list of the different words you’re challenging your audience to find. The letters are hidden, but the number of squares on the board tells players how many letters are in each word.
The different words hidden in the grid will be randomly placed vertically, horizontally, or diagonally if you wish. The reading direction is not a point of reference or limitation in this game. Words can be read from top to bottom, bottom to top, left to right, and right to left.
You can combine as many levels as you like into one game, with the possibility of multiple crosswords and word searches for up to 47 letters per level. Depending on the options chosen, players can be given visual help, with the first letter of a word displayed at the start, or ask for clues by clicking on the light bulb icon at the bottom of the game screen. If they can solve the clue, they know exactly what word they’re looking for. Pop-ups can also be added at the end of each level to highlight information related to a found word or solved clue.
Players can write their various suggestions on a touch screen or use their computer keyboard and press the Enter key to confirm their suggestion. They have to find as many words as possible with as few mistakes as possible to get the most points. This word game is an opportunity to offer a game that is both fun and potentially educational, and that makes people think about targeted terms or topics.
